SPORTS: INTERMEDIATE LIONS TO CLASH WITH AMAYUBIS OF RWANDA JAN 16
23 players of the
Intermediate Lions of Cameroon are presently in Ruvabu, capital of the Western
province of Rwanda preparing for their warm up game against the Amavubi of Awanda at 15:00 pm (Cameroon Time) January 6.
The team is also
brazing up for the 4th edition of the African Nations Championship that opens
on the 16th of January in Rwanda. Coach Martin Ndtoungou Mpile and boys had a reconnaissance
training session on the artificial pitch of the Amagunda Stadium a few hours
after arrival.

After that game, the
team will train for 5 days in Kigali and move to Uganda for another friendly
against The Cranes on the 13th of January.
The Intermediate Lions
who were absent in the last competition will play in group B based in Butare
alongside The D.R. Congo, Angola and Ethiopia. They open on the 17th against
The Palancas Negras.
Team
Press officer of the intermediate Lions, Simon Lyonga said the competition
would be tough given that all the teams are there to win.
